Want Books: The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

Want Books? is a weekly meme hosted at Chachic’s Book Nook and features released books that you want but you can’t have for some reason. It can be because it’s not available in your country, in your library or you don’t have the money for it right now.

The Fault In Our Stars
Just look at that gorgeous cover! *spazz*
51% of the nerdfighterverse claim that this is the best John Green book that they have ever read. I've had it on my wishlist since it first came out. Non-readers loved it, readers of all ages raved about how great it is, and my YA-illiterate mother wants to purchase her own copy!

Here's a summary from GoodReads:

Diagnosed with Stage IV thyroid cancer at 12, Hazel was prepared to die until, at 14, a medical miracle shrunk the tumours in her lungs... for now.
Two years post-miracle, sixteen-year-old Hazel is post-everything else, too; post-high school, post-friends and post-normalcy. And even though she could live for a long time (whatever that means), Hazel lives tethered to an oxygen tank, the tumours tenuously kept at bay with a constant chemical assault.
Enter Augustus Waters. A match made at cancer kid support group, Augustus is gorgeous, in remission, and shockingly to her, interested in Hazel. Being with Augustus is both an unexpected destination and a long-needed journey, pushing Hazel to re-examine how sickness and health, life and death, will define her and the legacy that everyone leaves behind.

Why haven't I read it yet, you ask? I absolutely hate buying hardbounds. I hate the dustcovers and the weight and everything ugh. I especially hate them when they fall on your face when you read. Well, i'm hoping on getting myself a copy once a paperback edition comes out. I heard that it's coming out this August, but the source isn't too reliable.  It would be pretty cool if it did come out this August though. Because one of the characters is named Augustus. Geddit? August? Augustus? Okay nevermind. x Ellie.
