Spotlight: I'm With Stupid by Geoff Herbach

Monday, May 06, 2013

Today on The Selkie Reads Stories, the spotlight goes to I'm With Stupid by Geoff Herbach. Felton Reinstein, dork-turned-athlete, must make peace with his father's death and accept his own ability to be brutal like his dad once was. I'm With Stupid is the third and final book in the Felton Reinstein trilogy.

Felton Reinstein has never been good with stress.

Which is why he's seriously freaking out. Announcing his college choice on national TV? It's a heart attack waiting to happen. Deciding on a major for the next four years of his life?Ridiculous! He barely even knows who he is anymore without football. And so...he embarks on The Epic Quest to Be Meaningful.

Which leads to:
1. Mentoring a freshman called Pig Boy.
2. The entire state of Wisconsin hating him.
3. His track coach suspending him.
4. The funniest viral video the world has ever seen.
5. A whole new appreciation for his family, his friends and what's really important in life.
Felton has gone through a lot since we first met him in Stupid Fast, and I can't wait to read more about his misadventures. I'm mostly curious about what that viral video is about though ;P I've noticed a lot of 'last in the series' books this 2013 that have not reached my expectations and i'm really hoping that I'm With Stupid will end the Felton Reinstein trilogy with a bang.

  1. I love Geoff Herbach! His books are great and there are so few that write from a guy's perspective like that.
