The Heiresses
MONEY, INTRIGUE, SECRETS AND SCANDAL.

In Allison Rushby's Heiresses, three triplets--estranged since birth--are thrust together in glittering 1926 London to fight for their inheritance, only to learn they can’t trust anyone--least of all each other.

When Thalia, Erato and Clio, three seventeen-year-old girls, are mysteriously summoned to this fast-paced world by Hestia, an aunt they never knew they had, they are shocked to learn they are triplets and the rightful heiresses to their deceased mother's fortune.

All they need to do is find a way to claim the fortune from their greedy half-brother, Charles who refuses to bestow any of their inheritance upon them unless all three leave London and never return.

For as the girls soon discover, everyone is hiding secrets and the truth is tangled …

A thrillingly addictive saga of love and betrayal for all lovers of Downton Abbey.
I'm not exactly a Downtown Abbey fanatic myself , but that doesn't mean that i'm not excited for this book.  I mean, how long has it been since you've read a book with a plot like this? 1926 London with all the glitz and glamour mixed with the drama of high society? I'm sold!

What are you waiting for? Buy a copy of The Heiresses from The Book Depository!

Having failed at becoming a ballerina with pierced ears (her childhood dream); Allison Rushby instead began a writing career as a journalism student at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Within a few months she slunk sideways into studying Russian, began writing her first novel and, most importantly, joined the Chocolate Appreciation Society. Over the past ten years, she has published five books for young adult readers and five for adult readers in the women's fiction genre. She is originally from Brisbane, Australia, but spent 2011 and most of 2012 living in Cambridge, UK, where she mainly spent her day’s whingeing constantly about the weather.

She is currently working on a New Adult contemporary, a Middle Grade book about aliens and her sanity.  Oh, and she got the pierced ears in the end, thanks for asking…

  5. Huh. New adult historical novel? That's sounds new to me. I usually see adult novels. And I'm really not familiar with Downton Abbey except for the dresses and awesome setting. I'm curious about 17-year-old girls in high societies.

I love the names of the girls and their aunt. So Greek Mythology. :)
