Hello Bookishverse!
I have GREAT news:
David Ayres and Darren Jacobs, the brilliant authors of Anumal Empire, are dropping the price of Anumal Empire: Lazarball on Amazon.co.uk to 99p, and on Amazon.com to 99c. This is going to be throughout the month of Decemeber. Call it an Christmas sale, if you will. If I were you, I would take advantage of the promo and get my ass over to Amazon UK and Amazon right this instant.
The race of man is extinct…
A new breed has risen...
Anumalkind shall inherit the Earth...
After merging human and animal DNA together, the Anumal race turned against their creators…and wiped them out.
Now, millennia later, an ancient pact between warring clans has been broken. Dark powers are surfacing, threatening the survival of this hybrid race…and the fate of the Anumal species lies in the paws of a single lion…Clinton Narfell.
Hailing from the desert village of Wooburn, Clinton’s meager life is catapulted out of control the day he steals food to feed his younger brother. As an extraordinary chain of events begins to unfold, Clinton is forced to use skill and cunning to keep himself alive…and is hurtled towards a destiny he did not realize he was born to fulfill…
Facing savage scavengers, vicious anumal clans, and worse, Clinton soon realizes that power does not come from books or spells, but from something far deeper within us all…
To coincide with this, five readers are getting a chance to win 5 ecopies of Anumal Empire: Lazarball. A Christmas gift from the Lazarball authors.

Title: Want
Author: Stephanie Lawton
Genre: YA Romance
“And I just want you to know, I’m willing to work hard. There’s nothing I won’t do to get into the NEC.”
Forbidden fruit can be the sweetest—or the most dangerous.
Julianne counts the days until she can pack her bags and leave her old-money, tradition-bound Southern town where appearance is everything and secrecy is a way of life. A piano virtuoso, she dreams of attending a prestigious music school in Boston. Failure is not an option, so she enlists the help of New England Conservatory graduate Isaac Laroche to help her.
She can’t understand why he suddenly gave up Boston’s music scene to return to the South. He doesn’t know her life depends on escaping it. Julianne must face down madness from without, just as it threatens from within. Isaac must resist an inappropriate attraction, but an indiscretion at a Mardi Gras ball—the pinnacle event for Mobile’s elite—forces their present wants and needs to collide with sins of the past.
Will Julianne accept the help she’s offered and get everything she ever wanted, or will she self-destruct and take Isaac down with her?
