So i finally crossed over to the dark side- and I am now the proud owner of a Kobo Glo! I've been thinking about getting an e-reader for months now, and i'm really happy with the Kobo. I can now easily read galleys from Netgalley and Edelweiss without straining my eyes too much. The only downside is that I can't read all the kindle books I got from Amazon.

Awesome! I recently got a Kobo Glo as well and I will be posting my review soon. Isn't it great? I love the fact that you can read in the sun and the special nightlight is the best thing I've ever seen :D
ReplyDeleteIf you use Calibre, I believe you can convert all the e-books you got from Amazon :) Just find the folder from Kindle, select the books and bring them to Calibre. If you connect your e-reader to your PC, you can sent the books through Calibre to your Kobo.

OhMiGosh I've never coveted so much in my life. Lots of goodies you have this week! Congrats on finally getting an e-reader. It took me a long time to get one also. When my Mom finally bought it, I posted pictures of me using it on ALL my social networks. *lol* My little brother teased me about being a dork. But I'm so happy I got one now. There's so many great ARC's and freebies out there I was missing out on. It's been awhile since I've visited and I absolutely LOVE the new look of your blog. Very sleek! Happy Reading.
