And, honestly, I haven't bought anything for my birthday yet. Yes, seriously! Have you experienced that already—when you want to buy a lot of things when you don't have the money, but when it's your birthday, you have no idea what to get? I always do. XD

In some other news, as most of you are aware, the Philippines was severely affected by the Typhoon Haiyan. Until now, the devastation caused by the calamity is still very evident. Many have helped, yet there's still so much that the victims need. The book blogging community has put up a very nice online auction to raise money for those in need of dire help in the Philippines. Hi guys! Apparently, I've been only able to post one review last week (click here) despite my promise to be more active. But don't you worry (don't you worry child~). Our (very short) semestral break has begun, so that means more time to read & blog! :)

I'm still enforcing a book-buying ban to myself, although I still received a couple of books from authors and publishers. Also, I still haven't gotten my copy of Allegiant yet because I've been seeing 'things' on the internet. I am now honestly intimidated by the thought of finishing the Divergent series.

Hi guys! Whoa. It's been an awfully long time since I last posted something here. It has been a very busy time for me. Usual—school keeps getting busier and I almost can't keep up with the ton of things I have to submit and do. People on Twitter are aware of this; they know how late (or early) in the morning I stay up just to finish something for school. It totally drains me and I barely have time to read, let alone to blog. But gratefully, our exams are finally over!!!!! *insert party .gif here* Hopefully things will loosen up a bit, so expect reviews this week. And also, ALLEGIANT IS COMING OUT ON TUESDAY!!!!!!!! I am currently rereading Divergent, and then Insurgent—and I'll post reviews of them on the blog as well. I ~~promise~~ will try to be more active this time and post more often than before. So... I guess that's a welcome back for me.

I put myself on a book-buying ban until I finish all the books on my TBR pile, but I really just can't. A while ago, I almost walked out of a bookstore without a book in hand. Almost. So I cheated and allowed just one.

I can now easily read galleys from Netgalley and Edelweiss without straining my eyes too much. The only downside is that I can't read all the kindle books I got from Amazon.

Hi guys! It's been a while since my last Stacking The Shelves post, huh? Well, this isn't just my haul for the week but the for the whole month(?) of March or so. I'm cheating a little bit here because i'm just posting all of the book haul pics that I posted on instagram and grabbing cover pics online haha! I used to love taking pics of my haul every week, but now it's just too hot to camp out in the garden and strategically photograph them.
